Bridie (Bridget) Kitt (née Lohan), Lehenagh, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe, County Galway and formerly Lissavruggy, Newbridge, County Galway, peacefully at home (2nd February) in the care of her loving family in her 102nd year.  Bridie predeceased by her beloved husband Michael F. Kitt, her brothers John, Michael, Pat, Tommy, Mark, Brendan, her sisters Mary Divilly and Margaret Mary Money, her grandchild Baby Aoife (Kitt) and her Son-in-Law Ollie Daly. Bridie will be sadly missed by her family Michéal (Castleblakeney), Maura (Dublin), Tom (Dublin), Áine (Clane, County Kildare), Liam (Ennis), Eamonn (Tuam), Proinsias (Salthill), Bríd (Ballybrit), her brother Martin (Sonny) Lohan, sisters Lena Rhatigan, Kathleen Cunningham and Ann McElwaine. She was greatly admired and loved by her 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law along with her carers, her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Franciscan College Oratory, Mountbellew from 4.00pm to 8.00pm on Saturday 5th February.Funeral Cortége will leave Bridie’s residence (family home) at 1.30pm on Sunday 6th February for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Caltra with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Requiem Mass will also be broadcast on the local Church radio. House Private by Request on Friday. Family flowers only, donation if desired to Ability West. Please observe the current guidelines regarding social distancing and mask wearing. No hand shaking please. A walk through system will be in place.
