Bridie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at home in their wonderful care on Friday 28th of November, 2025.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy, parents Michael & Mary Allen, her sister Mary Ann Coyne, her brothers Richard, John and Patrick, son-in-law Gerry (Jeffers), great-grandson Odhran.

 

Bridie will be greatly missed by her children Mick, Stephen, Marian, Kevin, Helen, Teresa, Breda, Kitty, Christina, Carmel, Paidge and Alan, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law Kathy, Leesha, Adge, Pat, Walter, John, Carl, Annette and Breda Coen (Kevin’s partner).

 

Bridie will be missed by her much loved brother Anthony Allen (Boston U.S.A.), grandchildren Gary, Patrick, Niall, Niamh, Ciaran, Enda, Laura, Jonathan, Regina, Maeve, Kate, Amy, Stephen, Róisín, Serena, Vanessa, Stephanie, Christopher, Erica, Barry, Jack, Therese, Paddy, Rachelle, Darren, Colin, Tara and Patrick, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Bridie will lie in repose in Kilboys Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF62) on Sunday 30th of November from 3 – 5pm followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Kilconieron.

Bridie’s Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Kilconieron on Monday 1st December at 12noon, followed by burial in Kilconieron local Cemetery.
