Bridie Dempsey (née Cahill)

 

Edenaun and late of Main Street, Elphin, Co. Roscommon.

 

13th June 1926 – 8th August 2024.

 

Peacefully, in her 99th year, in the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Care Home, Roscommon. Much loved Mother of Finbar, Noreen and Mary. Bridie will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving son, daughters, daughter-in-law Jane, grandchildren Rhys, Laoise, Cliodhna, Josephine, Aoife, Jade, Aisling and Martin, sisters-in-law Josie and Mai, nephews, nieces, relatives, good neighbours and many friends, especially her lifelong friend Peg Rattigan.

 

Predeceased by her husband Martin, parents Thomas and Bridget, brothers Pat, Michael, Joe, Tom, Martin, Frank, Ted and Anthony, sisters Bab (Forde), Nora (Finnerty) and recently deceased Kathleen (Brennan).

 

May Bridie rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home on Sunday, August 11th, from 4pm with removal at 7pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Elphin. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12noon. Bridie will be laid to rest afterwards in Caldra Cemetery (via Edenaun).
