Bridie Harney

The death has occurred  of Bridie Harney, 13 Marian Row,  Castlebar and formerly of Muckersaune, The Neale,  Ballinrobe, in her 95th year, peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Michael  and loving mother of Mary Rose (Field),  New Jersey,  USA. She will be sadly missed by her loving daugher, son-in-law Burgess Field, nephews, nieces,  grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, cousins,  in-laws,  neighbours and many friends.

Bridie was  well known and loved by all who knew her and she was very involved in Castlebar Apostolic Works and many other charities.

The Funeral cortege will leave the Kilcoyne Funeral Home on Sunday morning for Mass in the Church of the Holy Rosary,  Castlebar at 12noon which will be broadcast live on www.castlebarparish.ie and on Castlebar Parish radio on 105.3FM. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery.

Bridie's family and relatives understand and appreciate that people would like to offer their condolences.  However, due to the current state of emergency,  all funeral arrangements will be private to family and relatives.  Thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time. A memorial Mass in celebration of Bridie's life will be celebrated at a later date.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
