Bridie Keane
(née Flaherty)

The death has occurred, suddenly, of Bridie Keane (nee Flaherty), Carramanagh, Oughterard, Galway and Trábháin, Leitirmóir, on Tuesday the 31st of August. Predeceased by her husband Paraic Keane, her parents Baby Trayers agus Tomás Stephen, and her sister Nellie. Sadly missed by her daughters Rosemarie and Pauline, son Stephen, son in law Stevo, grandchildren Becky, Dylan, Hayley, Joseph, Stephen and Emily. Her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family and many friends.

Bridie's funeral cortege will leave her home on the morning of Saturday the 4th to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard, for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial immediately afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard.

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, the funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing, as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honour, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
