Bridie KENNEDY
(née Bourke)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Bridie Kennedy (Nee Bourke) Kilmurry Avenue, Garryowen, Limerick and formerly of Newport, Co Tipperary.
On April 15th 2026 peacefully, at Caherass Nursing Home, Croom, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her son Liam, husband Matthew, and in the last year by her daughter Denise (Clancy), brother Jimmy and sister-in-law Anne.
Greatly missed by daughters Noreen (Flaherty), Mary (Collins), sons Martin, Brendan, Matthew and Damien, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, friends and neighbours.
May Bridie Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, April 17th, from 5pm to 6.30pm,
Funeral will arrive Saturday, April 18th, at St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 1pm.
Funeral afterwards to Rockvale Cemetery, Newport, Co Tipperary.
