Bridie Kiernan
(née McEnroe)
Kiernan (née McEnroe) Bridie, Moate, Oldcastle, Co. Meath and formerly of Croghan, Virginia, Co Cavan. Monday 14th April 2025, in her 105th year, peacefully in the kind and excellent care of the Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent.
Adored wife of the late Harry, cherished mother of Laura. Beloved older sister of the late Pat, Susie, John, Frank, Mattie, Mary, Jimmy and Peter. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandnieces and great grandnephews, sisters in law and her beloved family of neighbours.
Bridie will be reposing in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376) on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Funeral Service on Thursday 17th April at 2:00pm in St Brides Church, Oldcastle, with burial afterwards in Killeagh Graveyard, Moate, Oldcastle.
