Bridie MCDERMOTT
(née Duffy)
Bridie McDermott (née Duffy). Sunday 14th March 2021. Peacefully in her 96 year surrounded by her family in the love and tender care of St. Oliver's Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Eugene, brother Peter, sisters Margie Duffy, Kathleen McArdle, May Conway and Tennie Coburn, Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving family, son Joseph, daughters Mary Grimes, Angela Woods and Margaret Dunne, sons in-law Frank and Sean, daughter in-law Ann, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces extended family relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours.

Due to level 5 restrictions on funeral ceremonies, Bridie's funeral will be private for family only with church numbers limited.
The community may wish to show support to the family when the cortege leaves Shevlin's Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 10.45am proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church arriving for Private Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery (via) her late residence in Mc Swiney Street.
