Bridie McKenna
(née Mannion)

Formerly of Portumna. Bridie passed away peacefully on Friday, the 10th of October, 2025, in the wonderful care of Garbally View Nursing Home. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank, daughter Orla, parents Martin and Bridget, brothers Pat, Martin and Declan and sister Pauline.

Bridie is loved and remembered by her son Ray, daughter Louise and daughter-in-Law Bernie. Much loved grandmother to Karl, Raquel, Daniel, Emily and Ben and great grandson Hunter. Loving brothers and sisters John, Gerry, Mary, Eileen and Vera, brothers and sister in law, nieces and nephews, extended family and cherished friends and neighbours.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Birdie will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Monday, the 13th of October, from 5pm to 6.30pm, with removal afterwards to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe. Bridie's Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am, with burial afterwards in Creagh Cemetery.
