Bridie O'Hanlon (née Sheehy),
formerly Ballymac, Effin, Co Limerick.
In her 97th year,passed away peacefully on October 2nd 2025, surrounded by her loving family
and in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Kanturk Community Hospital.
Loving wife of the late Timmy.
Bridie was a devoted mother to Ann (Forde, Banteer), Mary (O'Keeffe, Churchtown) and Mikie.
She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family, daughters, son, grandchildren;Ciara, Ted, Shirley, Darragh, David and Emer, great-grandchildren; Teddy, Joey, Casey, Nora, Keeva, Ina May and Cadhla, sons-in-law Pat and Michael, daughter-in-law Ann, nephews, nieces, relatives, carers, kind neighbours and her many friends.

Bridie will repose in Hannon's Funeral Home Doneraile P51HN30 on Saturday evening, October 4th from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Doneraile.
Funeral Mass for Bridie will take place on Sunday, October 5th at 11am.
Bridie will be laid to rest after her Funeral Mass in Kilquane Cemetery,Effin, Co Limerick.

The O'Hanlon family would like to express their sincere thanks to those that supported and cared for Bridie in more recent years, her GP, Dr Aidan Kelleher (Mallow), Mallow General Hospital, and finally a very special word of thanks to the nurses, carers, and staff of Kanturk Community Hospital for the exceptional care given to Bridie in the final days of her life.
