Barnfield, Corroy, Ballina, Co Mayo and formerly of The Islands, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a short illness that she faced with bravery and dignity.

Bridie predeceased by her parents, parents-in-law, brothers Pat and Fr. Jer.

Sadly missed by her loving husband of 46 years John, devoted daughters Eimear and Áine, sisters Mary Hogan (Mooncoin, Kilkenny), Kathleen Ryan (Tullogher, Kilkenny), Anna Kelly (Lisnagry, Limerick) brother Tom Joyce (Thurles, Tipperary), nieces, nephews, extended family and her wide circle of friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Thursday evening 23rd October from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.

Funeral will arrive to St. Teresa’s Church, Rathduff on Friday 24th October at 12noon for Requiem Mass with funeral proceeding to Ballinahaglish Cemetery, Knockmore for burial.
