The death has occurred of
Bridie THOMSON
(née Greaney)
Formerly of Prospect Hill, Galway
On Wednesday, 16 October 2024 Bridie passed away peacefully after a recent illness in the care of the medical staff at Galway University Hospital and surrounded by her dearly loved family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late George.
Cherished every day, mourned and sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters and son, Niamh, Gillian and George, grandchildren Ross, Emma, Hollie, Lauren, Hannah and George, daughter-in-law Bridie, brothers Padraig and Martin. Bridie will always be remembered her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at home (H91WY16) on Sunday, 20 October from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bridie on arrival at St. Mary’s Church, Claddagh on Monday 21 October at 11 a.m. and following Mass, she will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
The fever of life is over, and her work is done.
Lord grant Bridie a safe lodging,
a holy rest, and peace
