Brigid Beatty
(née Simpson)

Walkinstown, Dublin

Beatty (née Simpson) Brigid, 3rd December 2025, (late of Walkinstown and formerly of Clogher Road and St. Audeon’s Terrace, Dublin); peacefully in her 95th year surrounded by her devoted family in the wonderful care of the staff of Leopardstown Care Centre.

 

Beloved wife of the late Michael and cherished mother of Breeda, Sandra, Joyce, Jackie and Michael. Brigid will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken children, sons-in-law Brendan and Patrick, daughter-in-law Audrey, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, brother Edward, sister Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Brigid's family would like to give a special thank you to all her carers who supported and cared for her at home and the Doctors and staff at the Walkinstown Medical Centre.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Sunday (7th December) from 1pm to 3pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (8th December) at 10am in The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Walkinstown followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery arriving for approximately 11.30am.
