The death has occurred of Brigid (Bertha) Finneran née Kennedy, Ballymaglancy, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, County Roscommon (formerly Kilmurry. Castleplunkett, Castlerea), June 26th 2024, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of the ICU, University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by her beloved parents John and Agnes.

Beloved wife of Michael (Miko) and loving mother to Paul, Michelle, Joanne and Mark. She will be sadly missed by daughter-in-law Edwina, son-in-law Neal, Joanne's partner Ted and Mark's partner Michaela, grandchildren Jack, Ruth, Emma, Gráinne, Katie, MJ & Aoife, siblings Mary (Taheny) (Cong), John (Kilmurry), Noreen (Kearney) (Castlerea), Evelyn (Hannon) (Dublin) and Tommy Joe (Kilmurry), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Bertha’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett (Eircode: F45 HX59), on Friday 28th June from 5-8pm.

Removal on Saturday 29th June from the family home, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinaheglish (Eircode: F42 PY09).

Followed by burial afterwards in Rathmoyle Cemetery, Kilmurry.

Family flowers only please.
