Brigid (Bríd) Landy (née Walsh), Garranlea, New Inn, Cashel and formerly of  Ard na Croise, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Bríd passed away peacefully on June 1st 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family, following an illness borne bravely. Deeply regretted by her loving husband John, family Abigail, Anne Marie, John, Louise and Elaine, sons-in-law Tim, Karl and Tim, daughter-in-law Cecil, her precious grandchildren Cian, Jack, Isobel, Senan, Ciara, Emma, Saoirse, Avril and baby Shay, sister Máire, brothers Deuglán and Pacelli, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her close friends.

Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home, this Sunday evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday in the Church of Our Lady Queen, New Inn at 1pm and can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/newinnparish/ followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private, please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Tipperary Hospice Movement.

Bríd was a very loving, intelligent, warm, compassionate person who had a very strong faith. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful care and support received from University Hospital Limerick, Marymount Hospice Cork and especially South Tipperary Hospice Movement, her nurses Mary and Teresa, Dr. Paddy Davern and Fr. Bobby Fletcher.
