On Thursday, 19th March, 2026 Bridie died peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Knockdoemore, Claregalway. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Arthur, darling son Laurence and her sister Mary.
Lovingly remembered by her daughters Marion, Martha and Claire, sons-in-law Seán, Ron and Eoin, grandchildren Sadhbh, Eamon, Pauric, André, Cían, Kate, Conor and Ronan, siblings Margaret, Seán, Kathleen, Anne, Teresa and Michael, sisters-in-law Ailbhe, Stephanie and Chrissie, brothers-in-law Johnny and Noel, her many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a very large circle of friends both in Kildare and Galway.

Funeral Arrangements
Sunday, 22nd March 2026
Bridie will lie in repose at 'Síoraíocht' within the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway (H91YH05) from 5 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church.
Monday, 23rd March, 2026
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bridie at 11.00 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Coltstown Cemetery. Castledermot at 4 p.m. approximately. Mass will be live streamed churchtv.ie/claregalway.html and broadcast in the local area on parish radio 106.4 FM
