Brigid Carroll

We are saddened to announce the death of Brigid Carroll (née Higgins), Tyraverty, Scotstown, Co.Monaghan, H18 EA06, Wednesday 15th April, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and the compassionate staff at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her husband Pat Carroll and son Eamonn Carroll and her brothers and sisters that have gone before her.

Brigid was the beloved mother of Seán, Paddy (Melanie), Mary (John), Grainne, Bernard (Catherina). She will be sorely missed by her adored grandchildren Mark (Michaela), William (Jenna), Joseph, Jack, Ben, Erin, Hayden, Natasha, and her great-grandchildren, Danny, Lexie, Fiachra, Tiarnach and Lucas. She will be sadly missed by her brother Eamonn Higgins, sister Rita McAree, extended family, all her neighbors and many friends.

May Brigid’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Brigid’s remains will repose at the family home on Thursday from 5pm - 9pm and Friday from 5pm - 9pm.

House strictly private at all other times please to allow family time with Brigid.

Brigid’s remains will arrive at St Mary’s Church, Urbleshanny on Saturday for funeral Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
