Brigid Garvey
(née Gunning)
Brigid Garvey (née Gunning), late of Shankill, Co. Dublin and formerly of Rathconrath, Co. Westmeath, passed away peacefully on 13th March, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at Earlsbrook Nursing Home, Bray. Beloved wife of over 60 years of William (Bunny), dearly loved mother of Siobhán and Kevin, mother-in-law of Andrew and Marian, loved grandmother of Colm, Cathal, Niamh, Declan and Fionnuala, dear sister of Mary Nicholson and the late Seamus. Sadly missed by all her family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home on Tuesday (18th March) from 6.00pm-8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (19th March) at 10.00am in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Simon Community.
