Brigid Higgins
(née Whelan)

Peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. Predeceased by her parents Kathleen and Jack, her sisters Joan and Rene and her brother Peter. Sadly missed by her loving husband Peter, her daughters Caitriona (Castlepollard), Brigid (Mullingar) and Melissa (Ardagh), her sons Padraig (Scotland), Peter and John (Mullingar), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Luie, Veronica, Patricia and Mary, her brothers Dan and Fr. Seamus Whelan S.C.A. (Argentina), nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing in Shaws Funeral Home, Bishop's Gate Street, Mullingar, (N91 RY65) on Tuesday 21st April from 6pm with Prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday 22nd April from her daughter Melissa's home in Lyanmore to St. Brigid's Church, Ardagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
