The death has occurred of Brigid McCarthy (nee Flood), Knocksquire, Borris, Co. Carlow, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on April 2nd 2025, in the loving care of the staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her loving husband Jim, she will by sadly missed by her brothers & sisters, Paddy, Mary, Ann and Thomas and the Mc Carthy family.

Reposing at Breen's Funeral Home, Borris, Co.Carlow, (R95TEK7) from 4pm-8pm Friday 4th April, with vigil prayers at 8pm.

Funeral Mass Saturday 5th April, arriving at St Fortchern's Church, Rathanna for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
