HIGGINS, Brigid (Sr. Magdalen) Daughter of Charity and late of Cashla, Athenry, Co Galway. Born 1926 into the loving care of her family and community and died 6th April 2026 in the loving care of her family and community of the Daughters of Charity, Mount Prospect Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents William and Brigid, sisters Mary, Philomena and Lena. brothers Mattie and Michael, nephews Ronan and John and grandnephew Barry. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews great grandnephews, the Community of the Daughters of Charity, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Catherine’s Provincial House Blackrock, Dublin A94P2K3 on Thursday the 9th April from 3pm with prayers at 5.15pm. Funeral Mass Friday the 10th April at St Catherine’s at 10.30 am. which may be viewed on https://mcn.live/Cameras/st-catherines-provincial-house followed by burial at the New Cemetery, Athenry Co. Galway arriving 2.30 pm – 3.00 pm. approximately.
