Caitríona Mc Kenna

The death has occurred of Caitríona McKenna (retired music teacher of Our Lady’s Secondary School) Upper York Street, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, on Monday 16th March peacefully at The Mater Private Hospital, Dublin.

 

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ellie McKenna, sisters Imelda O’Flynn (Canada), Sr Benedict S.S.L., (Dublin) and her brother Patrick, (Brisbane, Australia).

 

Caitríona, deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Liz, nieces, nephews and relatives; her colleagues in Our Lady’s Secondary School, Castleblayney; The Dublin Symphony Orchestra; and remembered with love by her many friends and all those who knew her.

Caitríona, will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75NP30) on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00pm to 6.30pm, with removal at 6:45pm (proceeding on foot) to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for prayers of reception at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney at 11:30am, followed by burial in The Holy Family Cemetery, Ballyoisin.
