The death has occurred of Canon Oliver Heaney, formerly of Ivy House, Scardaune, Claremorris, Co. Mayo - 1st March 2025, peacefully in Brighton, England. He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Angela, brother Conor (Con, Belcarra, Co. Mayo) and sister-in-law Kathleen. Canon Oliver is deeply regretted by his brother Walter (Castlerea), sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews and their respective partners, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, and his many friends.

Canon Oliver will lie in repose at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyglass (eircode F12 XP97) from 6pm on Sunday evening (30th Mar), concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 12 midday on Monday, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
