Bhásaigh Caoimhín Standún, (Amstardam, An Ísiltír/ An Spidéal, Co. na Gaillimhe) go suaimhneach ina theach cónaithe in Amstardam ar an 24ú Bealtaine 2024, tar éis tinneas a d’fhulaing sé go cróga agus le dínit.

Cuirfear Caoimhín ar an Aoine, 31ú Bealtaine, tar éis seirbhís cuimhneacháin ag 12 iarnóin san Isiltir (11rn in Éirinn), áit a raibh cónaí air le blianta anuas.

The death has occurred of Caoimhín Standún (Amsterdam, The Netherlands/ An Spidéal, Galway) on May 24th 2024, peacefully, following an illness borne with fortitude and dignity.

 

Sadly missed by his partner Astrid, his ex-wife Norita, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brothers, sister, extended family and friends.

 

Caoimhín will be buried on Friday, May 31st , following a funeral service at 12 noon, in Amsterdam (11am Irish time), where he has lived for many years.
