Capt. Anthony (Tonner) Shiel

Shiel, Capt. Anthony (Tonner) of Sutton and formerly of Aer Lingus. Peacefully in St. Francis Hospice on 9th September, 2024, surrounded by his adoring family. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Shaun, daughters Nicola, Tanya and Alicia, sons-in-law Derek, Tim and Mark, grandchildren Sophie, Melissa, Matthew, Sean and James, his sisters Betty and Peggy and brothers Fr. Pat and Des, and his loving nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his late brothers Frank and Jack.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Wednesday evening (11th September) with a Gathering of Family and Friends from 3pm to 6pm. All welcome. Removal on Thursday afternoon (12th September) to St. Fintan’s Church, Sutton, arriving for 12.30pm Mass, with funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium.
