Monkstown, Dublin

CARTER (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) – September 3rd 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Capt. James Patrick (Jim) (late Harbour Master Dun Laoghaire); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Anne, much loved father of Elaine and Stephen and devoted granddad to Shauna, Liam, Aoife and Isla. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law Ciara, son-in-law Craig, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin on Thursday (Sept 7th) from 7pm until 9pm. Removal on Friday (Sept 8th) to St. Michael’s Church, Dun Laoghaire arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, Kilternan.
