Capt. Michael McDonough
McDonough, Capt. Michael Joseph (Mick) (Killiney, Co. Dublin; formerly of The Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare, and the Department of Education); February 18th 2025, peacefully in the outstanding care of all the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire.
Recently predeceased by his sister Maire. Beloved husband of Gretta, he will be very sadly missed by his loving family, children Stephen, Martin, Alan, Michael and Clare, daughters-in-law Adrienne, Elaine and Alison and partner Andrew, grandchildren Leah, Cathy, Tom, Daniel, Rebecca, James, Louis, Sophie, Lucy, Ruben, Leon and Freya, brother Don, sisters Mairead and Patricia, nieces, nephews, and his extended family in Dublin, Dundalk, Galway, Clare and New York.
Reposing Friday (February 21st) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm-6pm. Removal Saturday (February 22nd) to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Johnstown, Killiney arriving for 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/johnstownourlady followed by a private cremation.
