Captain Laurence Smith
SMITH Captain Laurence, Ballsbridge, Dublin, 16th January 2026 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital after a short illness surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Eileen and much-loved father of Paul, Ellen (McDermott), Suzanne (Fehily) and Audrey (Follett). He will be greatly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Helen, sons-in-law Dermot and James. His cherished grandchildren Daniel, Orla, Lauren, James, Lara, Sarah, Audrey, Jake, Jessie, Amy, Charles, Abigail and the late Rachel, brothers-in-law Bobby and Des, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and former colleagues from the airline industry. Rest in Peace.
