Captain Peter Murphy of Mounthawk, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died peacefully at home on 4th January 2026, beloved husband of Sheila and cherished father of Leonora, Susan, Michael and the late Kevin.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Michael, sisters Monica, Ursula & Philippa, sons-in-law Michael & Orlando, daughters-in-law Corinne, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass for Peter will be celebrated at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday (6th January) in the Church of the Purification, Churchill (streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/churchill). Private cremation will follow.
