Carmel passed away suddenly but peacefully on 29th December 2025. Carmel will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Laurence (Larry), children Orla, Ronan, Joanne, Colin and Killian, her adored grandchildren Aimée, Sébastien, Adam, Ruairí, Sophia, Lauren, Clíodhna, Jack, Louis and Jamie, sons in law Alan and Yann, daughters in law, Miriam (Mimi), Deirdre and Michelle, predeceased by her parents Jim and Josie and her siblings Kate, Neil, Sean and James, survived by her sisters in law Anette and Carmel and a wide circle of extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Thursday from 4pm until 6pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9.40am to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial after Mass in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore.
