Rankin, Carmel (née Hickey) - October 22, 2025 (Late of Drogheda and formerly Kilbarrack) (peacefully) at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda after a short illness surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her siblings Nanette, Billy, Doreen, Philip and Jimmy. Carmel will be sadly missed by her loving family, husband Fred, children Caroline (Paul), John (Celine), Sharon (David), grandchildren Karen, Emma, Aoife, Eoin, Jason, Dylan and Shauna, great-grandchildren Amber, Tristan and Ivy, siblings Larry, Betty, Bernie and Gerry, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May Carmel's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at her home in Grangerath on Friday, October 24th from 5pm to 7pm (family only outside these times). Funeral Mass on Saturday in St. Mary's Church, John Street, Drogheda arriving for 11am Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
