Carmel Colgan
(née Disney)
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Carmel Colgan (née Disney) on Monday 8th December 2025. In her 100th year, Carmel passed away peacefully, in the Bons Secours Hospital Dublin with her devoted daughters Paula and Miriam by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Colgan, Carmel showed great kindness and gave strength to all who knew her. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by Paula and Miriam, by her lifelong friend Nuala, God-daughters, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, dear friends and neighbours.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at her family home on Thursday 18th December from 5pm to 7.30pm. Removal Friday 19th December from her home at 9.45am to Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny, Dublin 5 for 10am funeral mass, followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton, Dublin 13.
