(née Gunning)
Carmel Devaney (nee Gunning), St. Martin’s, Battery Road, Athlone, & formerly of Riverstown, Co. Sligo.
Carmel passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of the staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Athlone. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kevin, son Martin and daughter Anne. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughters Catherine (Regan) (Limerick) and Claire (Reid), sons in law Phil and Barry, grandchildren, Kyna (and her husband Josh), Zara, Lauren, Sorcha, Caoimhe, Luke and Alex, sister Pauline (Boston), brother in law Frank, nephews, nieces, relativies and wide circle of friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her residence (N37 F654) on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St. Peters and Paul's church on Wednesday at 11am, followed by burial in Clonown Cemetery.
