Carmel Dooley
(née Hunt)

Dooley (St. Patrick's Quay, Bandon and late of Tissaxon, Kinsale) on May 22nd 2023 passed away peacefully after a long fought illness in the exceptional care of the Doctors and Nurses of Cork University Hospital. Carmel (nee Hunt) (late of St. Finbarr's Hospital and The Hideout, Bandon), beloved wife of Pat, much loved mother of Patricia (Shiels), adoring Granny to her 3 D's - Darragh, Donagh and Dáithí, mother-in-law to John and sister of the late Gabrielle (Brett).

Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, her twin sister Margaret (Ryan) and sister Evelyn (Morrissey), brothers John and Eamonn, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, Godchildren, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, friends and neighbours.

Carmel will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Wednesday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Due to ongoing road works on the South Main Street in Bandon, access to the Funeral Home is advised via Riverview Shopping Centre or Chapel Street.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
