Flanagan, Carmel (Carrie) (née Hurney) - 15th January 2026 (Baldoyle and formerly of Gorey, Co Wexford) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at St Francis Hospice, Raheny. Beloved wife of the late Mick and loving mam to Niamh, Shay, Seán and Ciara. Predeceased by her husband Mick, her parents Tom and Rita and sister Pauline. Carmel will be very sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law Seán and Stephen, daughter-in-law Viveka, her adored grandchildren Oisín, Darragh, Eimear, Eoin, Liam and Aoife, brothers Pat and Thomas, sisters Liz and Maria, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Carmel will be reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock (D13 E0A2) on Tuesday afternoon 20th January from 2pm to 4pm.

A celebration of Carmel’s life will be held in Dardistown Crematorium on Wednesday 21st January at 2.30pm
