The death has occurred of

Carmel Flanagan

Monalee Manor, Knocknacarra and formerly Henry Street, Galway City, Galway

Carmel passed away surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of the nursing staff at Caiseal Geal Nursing Home, Castlegar assisted by and following the wonderful community palliative care nurses from the Galway Hospice.  Predeceased by her parents William and Mai, bothers Jimmy, Willie and his wife Tina. R.I.P.

 

Remembered with love and sadly missed by her sisters Heather and Ita, brothers Bernard (Australia) and Michael, brothers-in-law Paschal Gardiner and Tony Johnstone, sister-in-law Colette and Michael’s partner Madeline, her much loved nieces and nephews in particular Paschal Jnr. in Texas, grandnieces and grandnephews, former colleagues at NUIG and all her friends especially Geraldine and Maura.

 

Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Wednesday, 23 November, from 6.00pm with to 7.30 p.m. Removal on Thursday morning, 24 November, to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill to arrive for Requiem Mass  therein at 11 a.m.  Carmel will be laid to rest following Mass in Rahoon Cemetery.
