Carmel Grant
(née Belton)
Carmel Grant (nee Belton), Gurrane, Ballyhaunis. Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. In the gentle care of the staff of University Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by Paddy and Mary. Carmel will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Aishling Mullahy, her son in law Martin, her grandchildren Ailbhe, Aaron and Aodhàn, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at her daughter Aishling’s residence on Tuesday evening (Feb 15th) for family and close friends only. Reposing at St. Colman’s Funeral home, Lower James Street (F12 R3W8) on Wednesday evening (Feb 16th) from 6pm until 7.30pm. Walk through only, no hand-shaking as per Covid-19 guidelines. Carmel’s Funeral cortege will leave her daughter Aishling’s residence on Thursday morning at 11.30am to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock on Thursday, 17th February, in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort (F12 YV70) followed by burial afterwards in Ballyhaunis new cemetery. Funeral Mass can be streamed live on Roundfort, Robeen and Carras Parish Facebook page.
