Carmel Grimes, (née Fitzgerald) Keelcuil, Liscarney, Westport, Co. Mayo. 13/02/2026 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Francie, parents Paddy and Kathleen, sisters Maureen, Nuala and Evelyn.
Sadly missed by her loving family Mary (Paddy), Tina (Owen), Pat (Aisling), Karen (Jimmy) Francis (Mags), Yvonne (Seamus), Leonard (Theresa Ann), David (Claire), Johnny (Tracey), brother Christy, brothers-in-law Lennie Grimes, Mick Mullins, sister-in-law Agnes Grimes and Bryony, her 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.
Carmel will repose in Cushlough Community Centre (F28HY30) this Monday evening from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart on Tuesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
