Hampson (formerly Buffini, née McConnell) Carmel (Summerhill, Co. Meath, formerly Tonlegee Road, Raheny and Larkhill Road, Whitehall) – March 14, 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of her family and the dedicated staff of Raheny House Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late George Buffini and the late Tony Hampson, cherished mother and sadly missed by her daughters Adrienne, Marie, Cathy, Trish and Georgina, sons-in-law Ger, Seán, Kevin and Steinar, her adored grandchildren Maeve, Noah, Rebecca, Jeff, Karl, Rachel and Róisín, her sisters Gerry, Eileen, Eithne, Anna and Tina, brother-in-law Tommy, nieces, nephews, step family, kind neighbours and her many friends. Pre-deceased by her brother Jimmy.

Carmel will be reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Tuesday evening (March 18th) with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning (March 19th) at 10.30 o’clock in Church of the Holy Child, Whitehall. Funeral thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
