Carmel Hurley
(née Hurley)
On May 17th, 2025, peacefully at her daughter’s home. CARMEL, beloved wife of the late Donal, much loved mother of Mary, Gerard, Eileen and Anita, sister of Marie (Geary), the late Denis and Bernard. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Vicky, sons-in-law Philip (Murphy) and Edmond (Moakley), grandchildren Ellen, Dan and John, Olivia-Rose, Finbarr and Donnacha, Maryam and Michael, Pádraig, Edmund and Séamus, sister-in-law Maura, brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Tuesday May 20th from 6.30pm to 8pm, with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday May 21st at 12noon at Church of Mary Immaculate, Dromore followed by burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired, to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital, c/o Bantry General Hospital.
