1st January 2026 (peacefully) in her 99th year surrounded by her loving family in the care of the nurses and staff at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle.
Pre-deceased by her husband Frank, brothers J.P, Tom and Josie.
Carmel will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Sons Pat and Anthony, daughters Geraldine Cooke (Dublin) and Carmel Maroney (Castlebar), daughters-in-law Roisin and Catherine, sons-in-law Eamonn and Henry, adored grandchildren Dillon (Elaine) , Amy, Conall, Clara, Aaron, Diarmuid, Tara, Cathal, Ailis, Cian, Maebh and Niall, sister-in-law Phyllis McGrory, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Carmel will repose in the Sacred Heart Church, Jamestown on Sunday 4th January from 4:30pm until 7:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial on Monday 5th January at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Jamestown followed by burial in Ardcarne Cemetery.
