Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind and gentle care of the staff at St. Oliver Plunkett Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eddie, her cherished grandson Marlon, mother May, sisters Patsy, Mairead and Sheila, brothers Jimmy and Hugh. Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her sons Gary and Paul, daughters Carol and Janeen, treasured grandchildren Craig, Mike, Eddie, Dean, Conor, Justin and Ronan, and her adored great-grandson Daragh. She will be fondly remembered by her half-sister Mary (Texas), sons-in-law Malachy and Mick, Ronan’s mother Adel, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Carmel will repose at her residence tomorrow, Friday, between 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock, for family and friends to call. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am, driving to St. Nicholas Church arriving for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass. Followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, where Carmel will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Eddie.
