MATES (née Creighton) (Glenageary and formerly of Parnell Street, Sallynoggin and Rockford Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – February 2nd 2025, (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice. Carmel (Ma Mates); dearly beloved wife of the late George (Homer), much loved and adored mother of Pauline, Robert, Terence, Bernie, Lisa, Louise, Christine and Sinéad. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a great circle of friends.

 

May she rest In Peace.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday (5th Feb) from 5pm with prayers at 7pm (all welcome). Removal on Thursday (Feb 6th) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by internment in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
