Carmel MADDEN

Formerly, Colehill, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. Carmel passed away peacefully on 23rd January in her 89th year, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of Fairview Community Unit, following an illness bravely borne. Pre- deceased by her Parents, sisters Maureen Lynam, Kay Geraghty, Sheila McLoughlin, Eileen Seward, Josephine Madden, her sister in law and brothers in law. Deeply regretted by her sister Pauline Norton, brother Colm Madden, her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and extended family. Special thanks to Carmel’s great neighbours, good friends and most helpful carers.

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore, R35 FC84 on Saturday 24th January from 4pm until 5.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning 25th January at 10am in St Francis of Assisi & St. Brigid's Church, Ballycommon. After Mass Carmel will be laid to rest in adjoining Cemetery.
