The death has occurred of Carmel Mahon (née Ward), Coolderry, Birr and Birr Community Nursing Unit, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Rosemount, Moate, Co. Westmeath, December 31st, 2022, (peacefully) at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family.Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Mary, her sisters Ann Currid (Leixlip) and Pauline (Moate). Sadly missed by her husband Pat, son Paul, daughter Anna and her partner Enda, her grandchildren Thomas and Ada. Deeply regretted by her sisters; Kathleen Feely (Tullamore), Mary McCabe (Belturbet), Angela (Rosemount), brothers; Bernard (Birr), John (Moate) and Willie (Tullamore), brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, (R42 YF75) on Tuesday January 3rd, from 5p.m. - 7p.m. Requiem Mass in St. Ita’s Church, Coolderry on Wednesday, January 4th, at 11a.m. followed by burial in Coolderry Cemetery.
