Carmel McAvinue (née Leonard) (Terenure, Dublin 6W) 21st April 2025. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff in St James’ Hospital in the presence of her family. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband James and her daughter Angela Mary. Carmel will be sadly and greatly missed by her loving family Michael, Seamus, Bernard, Maurice, Elaine and Eamonn, cherished grandchildren Michael, Anita, Luke, Joe, Jamie, Danny, Jody, Ben, Grace, Jack, Kevin and Simona and great-grandchildren Nathan, Jake, Lana, Frankie and Thea, daughters-in-law Carol, Geri, Antoinette, and Pamela, son-in-law Wayne, her brother Kevin, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Brendan and Paddy, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at her home on Wednesday evening (April 23rd) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Harold’s Cross for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
