McConnell, Carmel (Rathfarnham, Ballycullen, Dublin)

 

9th March 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services, Harold’s Cross. Beloved partner of Dan and predeceased by her parents James and Joan. A wonderful mother to Christopher, sister to Marian, Maurice, Seamus, Joan, Una, Kevin, and sister in law to George, John, Helen and Sharon. She will be hugely missed by her nieces, Niamh, Avril, Nicola, her nephews, Alan, Donal, Sean, Patrick, and Thomas, Dan’s girls, Naoise, Caomihe, Bronagh, Larragh and little Lughaidh, her nephew and nieces in law Gavin, Minori and Diane, grand nieces Caoimhe, Sadhbh and Roxane, and grand nephews, James and Tom.

 

She will be very sadly missed by all her loving family, uncles and aunts, cousins, extended relatives and her wide circle of friends.

 

“We will miss you so much and you will have a place in all our hearts forever.”

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham on Thursday, 12th March 2026 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, 13th March in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 10am, followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.
