McLAUGHLIN, Carmel (nee DeCourcey) Killimor, Co. Galway. Carmel died in the wonderful care of the Staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, on Monday, 20th November 2023, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of her husband Jimmy Joe for 53 years. Adored mother, sister, Aunty, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother in law and much loved friend. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Margaret and sister Ann. Deeply mourned by her daughters and sons Mark, Melvin, Margaret, Barbara, Eamonn, Anne, James and Patrick, sons-in law, daughters-in law, grandchildren and great-grandson.

House private, immediate family only.

Reposing at St Joseph's Centre, Killimor H53YD36, on Wednesday, 22nd November, 5-8pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 23rd November, at 10am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Claddaghduff, Co Galway H71XW32. Following Mass, Carmel will be laid to rest in Omey Island Cemetery.
