Carmel Sheppard
(née Kelleher)
SHEPPARD (Mayfield, Cork): On November 4th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Cork University Hospital CARMEL (Née Kelleher) beloved wife of Harry, loving mother of Aeidín, Eoin, Colm and Orla.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Noelle and Sandra, son-in-law Jerry, her adored grandchildren Aisling, Odhran, Clodagh, Liadan, Amy, Cathal, Sarah, Feidhlim and Áine, the O’Donovan family, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (November 6th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Friday (November 7th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Rocky Islands, Ringaskiddy.
The family wish to thank the staff at Rosnalee Care Centre and the Cork University Hospital for their tender care of Carmel.

Aifreann Sochraide ag 2.00pm Dé hAoine (7 Samhain) in Eaglais Naomh Seosamh, Baile na mBocht. Sochraid ina dhiadh sin go dtí The Island Crematorium, Oileáin Charraige, Rinn an Scidígh.
