(née McGlade)

Shirley (née McGlade) Carmel, (late of Clondalkin and formerly Rathmines), 31st December 2025; passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Noel and loving mam of Sinéad, Áine and Gavin.

 

Carmel will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, her adored grandchildren Seán, Aoife, Conor and Eoghan, son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Michelle, brother Eamon, sister-in-law Teresa, brother-in-law Paddy, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins especially Libby and Dermot, extended family, neighbours and her very large circle of friends, especially all her friends in Áras Chrónáin and her choir friends.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Monday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral on Tuesday at 11.30am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village followed by cremation in The Temple, to Newland's Cross Crematorium arriving at 1.30pm.
